PHP mail from behind the proxy

I have tried to write a mailing script using php's default mail function

But I could not get it delivered.

Can someone who might have already used it suggest me a work out.

or atleast some library which would which would do my work

Think it is disabled . 

A possible work around if you wanna have that facility is to use external sites to send you the mail.

PHP mail function does not support proxy.

you need to install pear-php and use that Mail() function ; just google it out 

in case u still find any prob then mail again - i hv done this - i hope i can help u out

the php mail() function works on our cse server....so u can use it in file on cse server ( i have used it and it is working)

Firstly mail() function doesnt work on localhost,

secondly u need to set ur SMTP sever accordingly so as to use mail()

even google allows to send mail i.e to use gmail as ur SMTP server

Doesn't Bighome support PHP mail() or SMTP?? Only CSE server?
