Dear All,
Computer Science Education Week is observed each year, in recognition of the birthday of
As a part of encouraging more people to learn computer programming code.org is organizing an Hour of Code from Dec 9-15.
What is Hour of Code?
It's a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify "code" and show that anyone
can learn the basics to be a maker, a creator, an innovator.
Starting from 9th December video lectures will be uploaded on csedweek.org/learn to teach various programming paradigms. The lectures will cover Python, Javascript and basics of app development.
If you're new to programming this can be a good start to learn the basics.
Ideally you should see an hour of a lecture each day, but all the videos will be uploaded initially, so you can as well move further if it interests you enough. :)
If enough people are present in the institute who are interested to learn via these tutorials, we can organize a meetup wherein people can
watch the videos together and we can have doubt solving sessions each day.
Note: The tutorials target ages as low as 6 years, so if you know someone who has age>=6 years encourage them to learn computer science. :)
Regards,
