Dear Friends, We will be gathering on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at 9:00am for the 1st Annual Ted Williams Memorial Disc Golf Tournament at the Richmond Hill Disc Golf Course in Asheville, NC, to honor Ted Williams, a 5 time Legends World Champion and beautiful human being who kept it real. There will be a raffle held on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009 at 12:00p for limited-edition portrait prints #s 01/25, 02/25 & 03/25. Please feel free to print it, pass it around and hang it up in your town (disc golf clubs, coffee shops, libraries, post offices, community centers, grocery stores, etc.) and/or forward it on to your friends. Thank you so much for spreading the word. This will be a simple tournament. Tournament Details: Date: Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 Time: 9:00am sign up T-Off: 10:00am Rounds: 2 rounds of singles Price: $10 to get in Awards: Cash payout (based on player turn-out) & prize Call me with any questions. Since the tournament and raffle are only a month away, your help in spreading the word is much appreciated. We will have a booth set-up selling raffle tickets on Friday, Oct. 30, 2009 from 9:00am - 5:00pm at Earth Fare in the West Gate shopping center in Asheville, NC. The Hot Springs Community Learning Center in Hot Springs, NC will also have raffle tickets for sale. There will be more opportunities to pick up raffle tickets in person. These dates and locations are to be confirmed. We will email you this information when it is determined. My girlfriend, Tera Broughton and myself are the raffle coordinators.
