Greetings Everyone,
As the end of summer approaches we are once again getting ready for a very special disc golf event! Chains for Wishes is celebrating its fifth year! Every year James Mayfield and myself put our hearts and souls into this tournament to make it a better event for the players and to try and raise as much money as possible for the WNC Make A Wish foundation.This tournament is ALL ABOUT THE KIDS! In the last four years we have raised over $25,000 and are hoping to near or surpass the $30,000 mark. None of this would have been possible without the continued support of our dedicated sponsors and players. We have gotten off to a great start again and made some wonderful changes to make this the best event yet!
The game play will be the same as usual, choose your own partner doubles. We will also be offering the 5 Mulligans per round for each team at $5 each. The divisions will include Advanced, Intermediate and Mixed. The mixed division can include a variety of teams such as an adult/kid team, female/female team or male/female team.
The entry fee per team is going to be $60 and this provids each team with breakfast, lunch, a players pack that includes an all new designed tee-shirt, multiple custom discs and other cool swag, plus entry to the awards/after party to be held at Ruby's BBQ and Tap Room. Ruby's will be offering food and drink specials for this event and we will have live music for everyone to enjoy!
The Date: August 6th, 2011
Registration begins at 8:30am, Players meeting and breakfast will start at 9am, with a 10am shotgun start.

You can also register at any Applebees in the Asheville/Hendersonville area. Registration cards are also in the kiosk at Richmond Hill Disc Golf Course.
We opened registration early this year and already have quit a few sign ups. If are thinking about playing it may be a good idea to register sooner than later to have a spot.
