Hey all you WNCDGC fans,

There's still time to register for this year's 4th annual HIGH COUNTRY THROWDOWN, July 9th and 10th, at Ashe Co. Park, in Jefferson, NC..

This year's THROWDOWN is going to be the best one yet, and here's why......

$35 for all divisions,

Three rounds or more of extreme kick ass mountain disc golf, a really sweet players pack, camping at the park ($5 per head per night, Fri and Sat. nights only), and a chance at winning divisional trophies and lot's of prizes! Plus, a cool icy machine!

The players pack includes,

- a custom 100% polyester, dri wick T-shirt

- a pair of custom 6" cool max socks!

- a pair of chums for your sunglasses

- an Innova DX disc (with option to purchase up)

- a Innova mini, sticker, and pencil

- and lunch provided both days by Anita Meyerhoffer of the Brookwood Bakery!

The Schedule for the weekend,

Fri. Early check in, 3-5 pm

      Random draw doubles (AM tees) $5 entry, CASH payout (AM tees), 5 pm

Sat. Check in, 8 am

       Players meeting, 9:30 am

       First round, 10 am

       Lunch to follow

       Second round to follow

       9 hole CTP Glo round, dark

Sun. Third and final round, 10 am (no players meeting)

         Lunch to follow

        Ace Off (if necessary) and King Masher contest!!

        Awards ceremony to follow

Registration is being handled through Disc Golf United, www.discgolfunited.com   The field is limited to 85 players.

I hope to see the WNCDGC represent as you've done in the past.   Your positive attitudes and good sportsmanship help make this tournament a special one.
