Sidewinder Disc Golf Tournament

The Second Annual Region 9 Sidewinder Disc Golf Tournament is a
fundraiser to support the North Carolina Recreation and Park
Association and is designed for all skill levels.

There are three divisions available: Co-ed, Recreation, and Open. All
divisions will play 36 holes at the regional locations on Saturday,
October 15 beginning at 10 am.

The regional locations will be held at disc golf courses in Black
Mountain, Mars Hill, Fletcher and Waynesville. The top four teams in
all divisions from each regional location will go on to play for the
championship at Richmond Hill Disc Golf Course in Asheville on Sunday,
October 16.

Lunch will be provided at each regional location on Saturday, October
15. Each participant will receive a disc and t-shirt. The top three
teams in all divisions will be awarded prizes. The top team in each
division will be awarded a unique disc golf trophy.

The cost to enter is $20 per player and/or $40 per team in all
divisions. The format is 2 person teams with a captain’s choice
format. Mulligan’s are available for $5 each, maximum 2 per player per
36 holes.
