Hello WNCDGA Members,

The WNCDGA Board of Directors current terms are about to end, and we will need to vote for the Association's new officers soon. Anyone who would like to be on the Board, please let us know. We have 7 positions: 4 of them will be 2 year positions and 3 of them will be 1 year positions... so we can set up a rotation of board members for the future.

Being on the board is an added commitment. One meeting per month (about 2 hours) and then all the other fun stuff that you get roped into throughout the year (running tourneys, work days, DG clinics, etc...). It really is a great job and is a rewarding way to give back to the DG community.

If you are interested in being considered for a Board position, please let a Board member know ASAP so we can get you on the ballot. (if you have already let us know, you're good to go).

We will be having the initial vote (in-person) on January 19th at Highland Brewery at 6pm. We will keep the voting polls open for an additional week for all members who were not able to attend the "vote party". Email ballots will be sent out as soon as they are available.

WNCDGA ELECTIONS... 
This Saturday we will have paper ballots at Highland Brewery from 6-8pm. If you can join us, we would love to see you there and get your VOTE. 

If you are unable to attend the live voting period, you will be able to send in your ballot via email until midnight on January 26th.

We will post the formal ballot with candidates sometime later this week.
