Hi Phil,
Thanks for reaching out. I'm finally getting back to you as my trial date approaches.
I'm looking for support from the bike community in general and from the Portland bike community specifically for my trial.
I have gotten to know the specifics of the use of nudity as protest through WNBR and other nude biking that's gotten press. I'm a regular rider at WNBR too. I would love to have Portland`s finest bikers in the courtroom for my indecent exposure trial.
On April 17, I stripped down while going through TSA screening at PDX. I made the choice for several reasons. I knew that nudity was protected speech from WNBR and other Portland antics. I had the belief that two or more men at TSA were about to see me naked in a private room anyway. I had just tested positives for explosives after going through a metal detector and an unconstitutional pat-down. TSA had me arrested rather than continue my screening to confirm that I was not carrying explosives.
I gave up my privacy during my protest with the hope that we can regain our constitutional right to privacy and other 4th Amendment rights. My liberty was more important than my modesty.
My trial for indecent exposure is on Wednesday, July 18.
To be clear: This is for the criminal charges of indecent exposure as charged under the City of Portland's laws. Nothing about these charges relate to TSA's investigation and likely hearing.
We do not yet know the time of my trial, and won't know until Tuesday, July 17.
Folks can stay posted with last-minute updates:

Hi John Brennan, I want to support you in your cause.
I believe your act is a protected form of political protest about the vulnerability of
our bodies at the hands of a more powerful and often indifferent "other"
I was once hit by a drunk driver and arrested during a World Naked Bike Ride. Part of our gathering is to demonstrate similar vulnerability.
I maintain a marginally popular blog that covers the topics of transportation and sexuality. Seriously! Its been going on for 6 years now.
Anyway, I can write and post info about your trial, but I can't guarentee any specific results. Perhaps you could write a paragraph about why you are reaching out to bikers specifically. That might help you win some sympathy.
Otherwise I dont know if there is much I can do for you; have you good council? Have you spent much time in court? The proceedings can be a bit confusing.
