Some feedback I meant to leave a while ago, but have
procrastinated until now!

My third WNBR.

Things that went well:
- Route well laid out, no major hold ups
- Not publishing the route ahead of time really helped
reduce the gawkers
- Police and security presence was nice and well
coordinated
- Thanks to the sponsors, Bridgeport, Ginsberg, any others I
missed, for enabling this to be a free event for the riders
- Super big thanks to the volunteers, without which it
wouldn't the event wouldn't be possible
- My fellow riders and spectators, for being friendly and
fun

Suggestions for improvement next time:
- June is too cold in Portland; we are the largest WNBR in
the world, right? Let's move the date into July even if it
means being out of sync with everybody else. More people
would do it if the weather were better.
- After parties too confusing and too many; I went to the
meeting spot for the mystery party but nobody was there to
escort us to the spot
- Voyeurs at the under-the-bridge official after party were
creepy; consider a rule that you have to be in underwear (or
less) to go in, or have a bike! At one point, I saw a
five-pack of guys dressed for clubbing going in... sheesh!
- Living on the west side, I am partial to the 2009 route
that went through Northwest and Downtown. It would be great
if the route could be brought back west but without the
congestion problems, of course!

Looking forward to next year! I will probably try
volunteering so I can give back for all I have received.
