via my friend, Bjorn:

"thought you might be interested to know, I was just watching a bridgeport beer commercial that featured a nude female cyclist. They were trying to hint at the world naked ride I assume although I am guessing that it was a staged shoot at some other time."

interesting, i suppose they, of any sponsor "deserve" it? and while ive not seen the commerical myself, more images of vunerable cyclists empowering themselves sounds hard to exploit.

fodder, and a call for more discussion! we have a date, anything else?

in other WNBR news, I might be helping organize with Vancouver BC, and the touring worker-owned/collective conference BikeBike for a screening of Bike Smut June 22nd

and in other Bike Smut news, we are screening some amazing mostly non-bike related, revolutionary content at the Clinton in just ONE HOUR!

9pm tonight and every tuesday night in May

movies and performances on the theme of:
May 1st REVOLUTION
May 8th FAITH CYCLE
May 15th MUTATIONS
May 22nd POWER
May 29th POLY-NOMADAL

officially our sponsor.

i actually just watched it for the first time myself, recently. it's
a real brief shot, though:

not much of a message there other than "drink our
suitable-for-wacky-portland! beer".
