I live in Lakeview East! Definitely interested in organizing a meetup.

Also, someone who posted on the original facebook page had a great question about reaching out to minority/marginalized women so their voices are heard. Does anyone know about the best way to do this? Neighborhood meetings to invite women (or those that identify as women, and male allies) of all walks of life to meet?

What unifies this amazing and growing group is our collecting believe in the social justice and civil rights that each member of this country is guaranteed but often not provided because of the power differentials that exist at every level of influence that matters - and with this new administration - appears to be growing. There is a group that will be at the march - women with disabilities and their contact is: http://disabilitymarch.com. They will need allies in the march to work along side them so that their voices will be heard. If you are interested check out the site.

Hi all - is anyone driving from Chicago to Washington, DC? I am trying to organize a caravan on 1/19 in order to attend a protest on inauguration day (1/20) with ANSWER Chicago. I plan to stay for the 1/21 Women's March on DC. I plan to leave right after the march on 1/21. I am working on lodging also. Would anyone here like to attend both marches? Please let me know. I am new to the group and looking for specific information on travel to DC and arrangements on the day of the March. I am looking into taking the bus that leaves from the city at 5 am on 1/20. I have my own place to stay, but where do we meet on 1/21 for the march? What time does the bus leave for Chicago on 1/22?

If there is another meet up I would like to join.
