Arts and Sciences International Study Scholarships
PassportAs part of its commitment to increase access to international
education, the College of Arts and Sciences invites qualified
undergraduates to apply for funds to help support their study abroad
experience. Based on need and merit, qualified students will be
awarded up to $1000 toward expenses directly related to WMU-approved
study abroad or internship programs. The student's faculty sponsor
will need to work with the student to administer the award. The number
of qualified applicants and the availability of funds will determine
how many awards are made.
Eligible undergraduates are those who:
have a declared major within WMU’s College of Arts and Sciences,
are WMU undergraduates in good standing,
have completed at least 15 credit hours within CAS,
have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5,
will complete a study abroad or international internship that has
been approved for WMU credit, and
are willing to be called upon to share about their study abroad
experience with other WMU students in the future
