College Dems v. College Republicans: Debate November 12! (And More!)

November 12 the College Democrats will debate the College Republicans about the War in Iraq. The debate will take place in room 213 of the Bernhard Center beginning at 8pm. It is hosted by the International Policy Forum and will be moderated by a Grad Student. PLEASE ATTEND AND SHOW YOUR SUPPORT

If you are interested in helping with Debate Prep, want to learn how to debate, or how to research for a debate, please attend as many (or as few) of our debate preps as you would like. All debate preps will take place at the county party's headquarters (Westnedge just past Whites Rd.) beginning at 9:30pm and running about an hour. You don't have to attend all preps! Below are the dates of the debate preps:

Election 2007

The election is just a week away. We support and encourage walking for Sean McCann. If you are interested in walking anytime now through election day (they really need help on election day) please reply to this e-mail.

 

Blue Tiger Democrats

The Blue Tiger Democrats will be canvassing North Kalamazoo to give voters information about voting without a photo ID (new election code that may discourage the vote of poor people and college students) this Saturday. Please reply to this e-mail to give a few hours during the day on Saturday to the Blue Tiger Dems.

 

GreenKalamazoo Letter Writing

This Sunday, November 4 from 2-5 p.m. we will be writing letters to Kalamazoo business owners asking for thier support in the GreenKalamazoo effort. Please meet in the lobby of the Bernhard Center to participate.

 

Indecision 2004

On November 19, following our meeting we will watch episodes from Indecision 2004.
