Friends,

Are you or someone you know an Obama supporter with a little time on
his or her hands? Are you an aspiring actor looking to pad your resume?
Or are the owner of a beat-up blue Chevette looking to immortalize your
ride? If you answered "yes" to one or more of these questions, read on!

As you may know, MoveOn is sponsoring a contest called "Obama in 30
Seconds."

If you or someone you know would be interested in participating in a
fun film project that may receive national attention, we want to hear
from you. Here's what we need:

Cast:
2 men who can play 18-25 years.
Ideally, one should be a little rough around the edges, perhaps a
skate-punk or emo type, but not necessarily the model of clean-cut.

2-3 women who can play 45-65 years.
One woman cast and another is a maybe (depending on the schedule).

Please note: we are not expecting anyone to have a page of acting
credits. In fact, experienced stage actors often don't work as well on
screen because the demands and style of acting are so different.

If anyone who does not fit these descriptions would like to appear, we
can use extras. The four principles will have lines. Each cast
member--extras included--will get a finished DVD or digital file (their
choice). Also those who loan props.

Props:
One (or preferably two) white Obama t-shirt(s), XL and/or L. Must be
the Obama logo only (no Michigan for Obama shirts). Shirts will be
returned, unharmed, to their owners. Having the option of the blue
shirts also would be nice.

I'd like to find someone with an American-made sub-compact (e.g.--Ford
Escort, Dodge Colt) who doesn't mind having an Obama bumper sticker
affixed to said car.

Location:
Downtown Kalamazoo.

Date and Time:
TBD. We will work around the cast's schedule. Shoot should be completed
no later than Sunday, April 6, 2008. The cast should be available for a
minimum of 3 hours.

Potential cast members should email a recent photo and may be asked to
read from a script.

PS--Sadly, I am no longer convincing as a twenty year-old male and
suspect I would be even less so as a forty-five year-old woman (no
matter how nice the dress is).
