There will be 6 candidate/options on the ballot

Write In

-Clinton, Gravel and Kucinich are declared democratic presidential candidates.

-Chris Dodd formally dropped out of the race after Iowa (the ballots were already printed).

-Voting uncommitted is voting to send delegates to the national convention who are not committed for any one candidate (voting for a candidate is really voting to send delegates to the national convention who have declared that they will cast their first ballot for that particular candidate.)

-A write in is a vote for a specific person who is not listed on the ballot and has not withdrawn their names from the ballot. PLEASE NOTE: If you write in another declared democratic presidential candidate (Obama or Edwards), you ballot will be considered spoiled and your vote will not be counted. If you support either Obama or Edwards, we suggest that you vote either uncommitted or for another preference.

Also, we will be watching election returns and tonight's democratic presidential debate at the Kalamazoo County Democratic Party Headquarters (off Westnedge) beginning at 8 p.m. There is a $5 requested donation for students at the door.
