The College Democrats have a ton going on in the next few weeks:
Carl Levin will be on campus on March 27th. He will be speaking and answering questions on a variety of topics, specifically the War in Iraq and the Michigan Presidential primary. The speech will begin at 8 p.m. in the President's Ballroom in the Bernhard Center. Doors open at 7:30 and seating is limited. As this is a College Democrats event, a small number of seats will be reserved. If you would like the get on the list for a reserved seat, please e-mail us back. Seats will be reserved on a first-come first-serve basis. The event is free, open to the public, and will last about an hour.
The 3rd and final segment of The Power of Nightmares will be shown on March 25 in room 1220 of the Chemistry Annex. The 1 hour video is the final portion of the award-winning BBC documentary on Neo Conservatism
We will be hosting a forum on The State of Education in Michigan and America on April 3. The forum will discuss education and the economics and funding of it. More details will be sent out soon.

April 16 is the anniversary of the shooting at Virginia Tech, when 32 students tragically lost their lives in about 3 minutes. We will go over our plans for remembering and marking the 1 year anniversary of the tragic events.
As usual, our meetings are every Monday at 8pm in room 213 of the Bernhard Center. More details and planning will be happening at our upcoming meetings.
Elections are coming up quickly! We will be going over how elections work at out March 24 meeting.
