Please remember that the College Democrats will begin meeting again to plan our very busy Spring semester at 8pm on Monday, January 7 in room 213 of the Bernhard Center.
Our first order of business will be a visit by a Presidential Candidate!
Presidential Candidate Mike Gravel (former Democratic Senator from Alaska) will be in Kalamazoo on Monday, January 14 - the day before the Michigan primary!
The College Democrats of WMU will host a town hall style meeting in the Bernhard Center on January 14 at 7:30 pm (room TBA, but we think the Brown and Gold Room on the top floor). This event is free of charge and open to the WMU and K College campus communities as well as the greater Kalamazoo community.
Please make sure to attend this rare opportunity to meet Mike Gravel.
We also will be preping for more for the War in Iraq debate. The debate, hosted by the International Policy Forum will be held on January 29 in the Bernhard Center and will be between the College Dems, College Republicans and the Republicans for a Better America. We will continue to prep at the county party headquarters on Monday and Thursday evenings, beginning at 9pm.
