Oregon.live has new boss

Hello Everyone,

I thought I'd share the news that Oregon.live seems to have a new
director, John Jackson:

I think the consensus is that Oregon.live is a very weak site.
Perhaps the new director will turn things around.

According to the link above, Jackson hails from "the Detroit Free
Press and The Detroit News. Their Web sites attract almost 100 million
page views a month."

Maybe a look at these two Detroit web sites will give us a possible
indication of what is to come at Oregon.live.
