MTMA 2022 - Save the date - July 18-22 in Redmond

Hi all,

This is a pre-announcement/save-the-date for the MT Marathon in the Americas (MTMA) 2022 hosted by Microsoft in Redmond. The MTMA will take part in the week after NAACL (happening next door in Seattle) in the week of July 18-22, 2022. It’s traditionally a 5-day event.

MTMA is a week of working on MT-related projects. There are also lectures and tutorials for those new to machine translation (and lots of people around to ask for help!). Registration is free, and it is a great way to meet other people working on similar topics!

You don't need a project idea to come; on the first day people describe their project and solicit teammates. Participants come from research labs inside and outside academia.

 

The website (http://aka.ms/mtma2022) will be updated soon with more information on speakers, venue etc. Registration is free, but the number of attendees will be limited.
