I have been diagnosed with WMSN, I have had it for about 15 years but was only diagnosed in the last year. Nice to find a Neuro that knows what  they are talking about.
Generally I manage/tolerate it but I have been on Gabapentin for another condition so I think that masks it. Certainly at the end of the day when the Gabapentin has worn off a second dose does dampen it down pretty quickly. I also take a low dose of Nortriptyline but I'm not sure if that helps. Tramadol I have also found quite useful in a flare when taken in conjunction with Gabapentin. I also take a vitamin B tablet daily.

All of these except Vit B have side effects though not severe and your body will adjust so take it easy and give it time, build up slowly.

Best of luck

Frank

Hi Frank,

Good to hear from you. Glad youve found some stuff that works for you. I also find keeping my temperature to an average helps a lot. Not getting too hot or too cold!
