|Thanks Rene. I've tested st and it has no problems. Both with and
|without the meta() call, it send Esc-prefixed with the alt-key.
I am using it for years, too. 'Could be it is the culprit for
changing things in my xorg[<>dwm]<>st/tmux<>bash setup by removing
zero-width characters; ie if i paste something and use wc(1) -c,
then copy+paste it again things have changed.
It is ok in that my own stuff is just equally bad. But is not "no
problems", generally speaking.
