Save the Date! WHMIC (Virtual) Meeting Dec. 4th!

Hello All,

In our monthly WHMIC check-in meeting this morning Ellen Lutz (UMass), Mike Mannheim (WNEU) and I decided to plan a meeting for Dec. 4th, from 9 a.m. to noon. I will host via Zoom (link forthcoming). BYO coffee/tea/donuts. ;-) No worries about where to park or getting lost on campus.

We will follow the usual format of institutional check-ins for the first half of the meeting followed by a program which will consist of sharing our experiences of remote teaching/learning this fall term. Are you teaching synchronously? Asynchronously? In Zoom? What's working for you? What isn't working? As we move into the spring term what can we do to improve our online teaching? Has your institution announced their plans for spring?

Mike Mannheim (michael....@wne.edu.) has offered to help me organize this meeting. If you've found something that has really worked and you want to present it to the group, please email us.

We hope to see you on Dec. 4th!

I'm so embarrassed! Is it WH-MIC? Or is it WM-HIC? I do know the answer to that question! I hope as many as possible can join us for the next meeting of WMHIC!
