Hey freeformers,

Good news! We have secured funding for a new board in Studio A. Yay! We are looking for as many volunteers as possible, so if anyone has any experience with electronics or any related fields,  your help would be greatly appreciated. We are hoping to get the equipment delivered by mid-November and install it shortly afterwards. Please let us know if you are interested.

Sincerely,
The Ops Team

"As many volunteers as possible" risks the too many cooks problem. That being said ;-), happy to help get the thing on the network so it can be configured.

I'm assuming the first thing you'll need is a carpenter to make a space for the new gear? Or is it designed to replace the existing setup?

Yes, the first steps would most likely be removing the old frame and replacing it with a new one that fits the new board. I'm not 100% sure if the new board will fit the old frame, but I highly doubt it.

It would probably be good to meet with you over the phone or at the station to discuss the online configuration. We might be getting help from someone through the supplier that offered to do some training on configuration.

Hard to say right now since we are still working on getting the order placed, but my guess would be that the equipment arrives in mid to late november.
