Are the levels off on the board? It seems that if we level up to where we were with the old board, it looks like we are way in the red. And are there new instructions on how to listen to the phones? I tried the old way and didn't have any luck.

Thanks,
Chris M.

Ignore the meter on the screen (or look closer!). That’s the external signal, post compression and processing, which is always way up in the red.

Just like in studio C, you have to use the meter built into the board to see your Program 1 output.

This might be worth an email to ALL because I was listening this morning to some VERY quiet radio.

Turn your levels back up, as long as you’re not clipping you’re a-okay.

Best

Max,

Yes please put something out. I had a very hard time figuring out where the right level would be. I was asking listeners if everything sounded okay. When i listened to the archive today I did notice some loud and quiet stuff.
Maybe a quick video showing what is good on the board and what is not good.

Thanks,
Chris

If you adjust the sliders so you're peaking around -20 on the Program 1 VU meter at the top of the board you should be good.
Rivendell needs to be down a little compared to mic1 and Aux 1 (those are all I use for the most part).
