This Friday in honor of Aretha, Michigan is naming a stretch of highway for her so consider playing "Freeway of Love."

It connects to the timely news Michigan is renaming a stretch of state road M10 as the "Aretha L. Franklin Memorial Highway."

Besides the full album track (5:52), the single mix (4:06), and extended dance mix (6:31), check out the 4:52 "Rock Mix" courtesy of then Arista Records promo master, Sean Coakley (!!!), with Prince sideman Dez Dickerson on guitar.  All versions come from the 1985 album "Who's Zoomin'  Who."

I will leave the CD in Studio A this Friday evening.  1 is the album track,2 is the extended dance remix, 3 is the rock mix, and 4 is the single release. Yeah, they used to do that.
