Hi everyone!

I want to acknowledge that it has not been the smoothest semester in terms of technical issues and studio maintenance, but I want to thank our Operations team, led by Sebastian, for all of the immense work they have done for the station (and of course everyone who has stepped in to help, including many community members and alumni)! I also want to thank all of you for being understanding with the circumstances and still keeping WMFO very much alive and freeform. With that said, we have experienced large deficits in our funding and budget due to the high-cost studio repairs and upgrades, and we still have more goals we want to reach, such as replacing the floors and some of the furniture in the station. Furthermore, our operations budget 'cushion' in case anything needs to be unexpectedly and quickly replaced, is greatly diminished. If you are able, please consider donating to WMFO today and pass on the message to anyone you know who may also want to help. We greatly appreciate any gift you may be able to make and assure you that we are working hard to improve the station as much as we can!
