Screentearing issues with WindowMaker

Hello,
I just recently installed WindowMaker from the AUR on Arch Linux, and I have noticed that i am getting some really terrible screen tearing issues. I don't have these issues on my regular KDE setup that I have on the same system. I'm using an AMD Radeon RX 580 as my graphics card, so I'm not sure what the problem could be since I am obviously using the latest Linux kernel which has fixed this issue. Is there a setting that I missed which I was supposed to do? The settings app seems to have failed to load, which seems to be some old issue about it hard coding the location again. If anyone can help me that would be greatly appreciated! :)

I have this issue too, on Intel Arc card. Were you able to fix it?
