Hi!
Being a longtime fan of windowmaker I am trying to install it on my new FreeBSD system on a HP Omen box. I have xorg configured with the latest Nvidia driver installed.
When I do like I always did before after installing the windowmaker package, making a .xinitrc with "exec wmaker" in it, then trying startx, the xserver fails and I get:
"ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/libMagickWand-7.so.10: version VERS_10.0 required by /usr/local/lib/libwraster.so.6 not defined"
Writing only "wmaker" at the prompt results in the same cryptic message. I have tried to look for the shared objects in question on the Net but to no avail.
What's wrong? I did do "pkg update" after installing fbsd 14.1
Hoping for an answer!

Not a FreeBSD user myself, but this looks like a library mismatch between wmaker dependencies, libMagickWand-7 cannot fulfil the dependency expected by libwraster.so.6.

This looks more like a FreeBSD problem, related to how WMaker has been compiled (if it is distributed in binary form) and how it and its dependencies are packaged.

Based on this bug report: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=280756, it seems there is something going on with libMagick and VERS_10.0
