Hi

Installed wmaker onto a Debian 10 virtual (Qemu/Libvirtd).  I have configure the virtual screen resotuion size to be 1920x1200. This was doe via xrandr.   WMaker does resize the to the screen, however the desktop and dock is stuck on the 1024x768 screen size.  I can move application windows the enter virtual screen, however the dock icons and menu are such on the original resolution.  What have I missed

Kind Regards
Gerhard

Adding more info - when I manually restart WindowMaker, it appears to accept the new resolution.  I treid to make the change permanent by running autostart script under ~/GNUStep/Library/Windowmaker/autostart

Hi

Solve my own problem - adding info here - in case somebody is interested.
When Xorg is started, (in my case startx), with the vert-veiwer environment, Xorg defaulted 1024x768 resolution.  I ran xrandr <hight rsolution> after window maker start.  I did this via autostart as it work for openbox.  This does not appear to work the same way for Windowmaker.  I had to manually restart Windowmaker (via the menu) to accept the new size.  Instead, I created and modified a xorg.conf file with the "preferred" option to for the higher resolution at start up.

Regards
Gerhard
