New Poll up on our website

There is a new poll up on our site. We have decided to narrow our
voting down to a few parks at a time. So this vote will end on December
31st and the date range will be January and February.
The three parks are:
- Casa Grande Ruins
- Saguaro National Park
- Tonto National Monument
You will have to be a registered member and signed into the website to vote.
Here
is what you are voting for. Sometime in January and/or February, we
will go visit one of these parks as a club and operate from the park.
This is for the National Parks on the Air event.
If
we have a tie, then we will visit both parks. Then in January we will
have another poll for a park to visit from March to April.
If
there is a National Park that you would like to be added to one of our
polls, please feel free to email or ask. We would like to do at least 4
parks or more. There will be at least one National Park outside of the
State that we will try to visit. We are thinking of either New Mexico,
Nevada or even California but not sure what park we will be visiting.
Please
get your vote in early so that we can start the planning process. We
will be coordinating with each National Park we visit to ensure an
enjoyable experience for both us, the National Park and their visitors.
We want to set a good example.
Also the
more the merrier. What we mean by this is, the more members we get
coming out to these events, the better the event will be. So keep track
of all of our events and mark them down on your calendar. Some of
these will be just a day trip, some might involve camping or a road
trip. We will try to let you know a month or two in advance as to where
we will be going so you can let your boss, family, and friends know.
