Hi,

Like someone else before, I too have problems closing WMDict 2.0. The message that appears is:

Access to path 'C:\Program Files\WMDict2DATA\resources.txt' is denied

From the forum I understand that [quote] 'For some reason, it seems the resources.txt file has been deleted and
cannot be created anymore. Probably therefore you get the error message.'

I also checked and couldn't find the resources.txt file. I removed WMDict 2.0 and reinstalled it, but the resources.txt file is still missing. Can you send me this file too?

Thanks you so much. The program is of great help in preparing for parts and talks, as well as other study projects.

Yes, sometimes this problem does occur. The solution we found is this:

1) In the directory where you copied your data files, you may see a
file called resources.txt

2) If it is there, delete it.

3) Irregardless if the file exists or not, open Notepad and save a
file into the same directory called resources.txt. The file should be
blank or even could have a space in it.

Basically sometimes windows is preventing the program from writing to
this file. If you make it yourself, then the file has the permissions
to be written too.
