Dear Expert(s),

Thank you for giving me the links for installing WM-Dict.  I am using a Samsung OMNIA II i8000H smartphone with WM v6.1.  After copying the decompressed files to my phone, the situation is that:  under a "WM-Dict" folder, there is a file "WM-Dict_WM_2.0.cab" and also a sub-folder "Data".  Then, under the "Data" sub-folder there are three files ce1 (52.3M), ce2 (90.6M) and ce3 (85.3M).  I have also copied the file "ChineseFont.cab" here in this sub-folder.

After running the two .cab files, everything looks OK and an icon "WM-Dict 2" has been created.  But when I press the new icon, only a black-and-white frame appears that look like the demo video in your web site.  But nothing more appears.  It seems it is half-installed and no link to the database has been made.

Would you please advise what action I may take to correct it?  Thank you very much.

We are glad to hear you are making progress. From your message it
appears you have successfully installed the application, you just need
to get the dictionary files intot he correct place for it to work.

Make sure to read the install instructions one more time at:
http://sites.google.com/site/wmdict/wm-dict-general/wm-dict-v20/wm-dict-v20-install-wm

Basically I think you are missing a step. After you install the WM-
Dict_WM_2.0.cab file it installs into a directory on your device at:

\Program Files\wmdict2\

or

\Storage Card\Program Files\wmdict2\

There should be a data directory here. This is where the data files
need to be copied.

Best regards,
WM-DICT

Thank you for reminding me the correct name of the directory created
(i.e. \Program Files\wmdict2\). I thought I can just use any name for
the directory. Everything is working fine now. Thank you very much.

Regards,
Cyrus
