The Indiegogo Terrazas Community Kitchen campaign is winding down!

Hi all, 

As of today, Prez Day, there are 10 days left to reach our goal of $10K to help build the Terrazas Community kitchen!  We can do this!!!  See Indiegogo, "Terrazas Community Kitchen" in the search bar.  

To spur your memory, in 2010, I went with Pastor Ben Guerrero with the support of Senior Pastor Tony Williams of Maranatha Christian Center, to Tijuana, Mexico.                   

This was motivated by several things: my adult lifelong support to youth & community development locally & across this globe, by my personal service to poverty stricken families & addicted individuals fighting for their sobriety, (18 yrs at Cityteam, the last 11 of those 18 yrs in the classroom), and by my restored health a year after a severe illness.  

This trip had a profound effect on my life.  

Fast forward to an invite from the GWLN, Global Women Leadership Network (recommended by Minister Nellie Lee) at Santa Clara University, to participate in their program. They & Cityteam invested $8.5K in me,  polishing & challenging my skills to network, empower and mobilize others.  I knew the why & what of the vision, GWLN strengthened my gifts with "HOW."  From an initial committee of 7 who caught the vision of this daring project, in the last 6 months we have grown to a team of over 17 key leaders. There are four churches heavily invested, with community leaders both here in the south bay & in Tijuana committed to building & stabilizing this building for long term, replicable, sustainable, and quality service.  It is also desperately needed for development & leadership training. We need the $10K toward a goal of over $40K to get this venture "shovel ready" to break ground.
