COME TO THE WLP TODAY AT 4 IN MATHER PRIVATE DINING ROOM....We'll have tea, cookies, and an awesome discussion about women's rights in the Middle East....

WHAT: Discussion with Humaira Awais Shahis, a current Radcliffe Fellow working on a book about the treatment of women in the Middle East. For more information about her background and work, please see http://www.radcliffe.edu/fellowships/fellows_2010hshahid.aspx

WHEN: This TODAY at 4:00pm in the Mather Small Dining Hall.

WHY: Because Humaira is an amazing woman with a story everyone should hear. And what better way to wind down your week than with afternoon tea and talk about women?

Hope you can make it!

The event was great! Kara did a fantastic job of securing Humaira as our guest speaker because she is a very passionate woman. Humaira captivated and inspired all of the guests by telling her leadership stories and experiences. Also, thank you Hanna for arranging for the intimate room at Mather. It was a perfect size! Guest turnout was good too. I think we had approximately 11 girls. Great tea today!

Thanks KC! I concur! It went very well and I think there is a lot of potential to continue the WLP's support of Humaira and her legislative work.

KC, have you secures someone for March? If not we should get on that soon!

xo,
Kara
