Hey friends -

Coming back into Boston/into the New Year, just wondering if there was any interest in rekindling WLBT. It's hard, schedules are a bitch, but it just sits there and taunts me.

Thoughts?

My friends,

As much as I want to raise my hand, I'm unable to join in the fun this year.

I love you all dearly and I'm so glad have been part of creating something that introduced us and forged our friendships. This is the biggest thing I take out of WLBT. The stories we created and shared, whether highly emotional and visible ones during the '13 marathon, or everyday reflections on the city, rank second (but just barely).

My contributions notwithstanding, it's been too long since we all got together. Have your writers' meeting as needed, but I'd love to join up before or after.

I'm so glad you sent this note, Dave. Keep it strong and keep writing. There's too many good stories in this city not to.

I just started a new gig, so going to be pretty busy for the foreseeable future, but maybe I could do a spot music review here and there? BTW that Boston Calling lineup is pretty sick.
