Issue with HTML Grid Layout Conversion in wkhtmltopdf

Specifically, I have been experiencing difficulties with maintaining the layout of HTML documents that utilize CSS Grid Layout when converting them to PDF using wkhtmltopdf. Instead of preserving the grid layout as intended, the resulting PDF output places the div elements on top of each other, resulting in a distorted layout.

I have thoroughly reviewed the documentation and experimented with various configurations and options, but unfortunately, I have not been able to resolve this issue. It seems that wkhtmltopdf may not fully support CSS Grid Layout during the conversion process.

As CSS Grid Layout is an increasingly popular and widely used feature in web development, it would greatly benefit users like myself if wkhtmltopdf could provide better support for preserving grid layouts during conversion to PDF.

I would appreciate any insights, suggestions, or workarounds that the community may have to offer regarding this matter. Additionally, if there are any updates or plans to address this issue in future releases of wkhtmltopdf, I would be eager to hear about them.

If you want to use a grid system in wkhtmltopdf, I'd be happy to help. You can achieve this by using CSS to set the parent div with display: table; and its child divs with display: table-cell; to divide them properly with the desired width for both child divs.
