Printing a page to PDF that is setup for inbrowser webkit printing.

I have page layout that has been designed so that when printing from the browser it uses webkit to produce the layout by using the media="print". This prints out nice and neatly and exactly how I want in landscape A4.
The problem is when I parse this same page through wkhtmltopdf I get only the screen version. I have tried using the switch --print-media-type and --orientation Landscape, which looks like it has tried to use the alternative layout, but I only get like 20cm of the whole thing.
Not sure if wkhtmltopdf can support what I am doing.
Any assistance appreciated.
