Code signing issue on MacOSX - how to build?

So I am trying to include wkhtmltopdf in a MacOSX bundle.

When I get to a signing step, I get an error:

can't allocate code signature data for:  ..../wkhtmltopdf (for architecture i386) because larger updated load commands do not fit (the program must be relinked using a larger -headerpad value)

I figur ethat means I am going to have to learn to build wkhtmltopdf myself to add the extra build paramaters.

The build instructions on the Wiki are a bit dated, they references MacOSX 10.4.  Anyone done a build for MacOSX 10.8 or higher?

OR is there another way around the -headerpad issue?
