Hello,

I have made a Windows build with the following fixes:

* QT upgraded to 4.8.5
* merged all changes from 4.8.4 branch of https://qt.gitorious.org/qt/trvrnrths-qt
* merged fixes for getting the MSVC static build working from phantomjs
* applied minor tweaks in the windows build for wkhtmltopdf

You can download wkhtmltopdf-0.11.1rc_qt4.8.5patched.7z from:
https://github.com/ashkulz/wkhtmltopdf/releases/tag/0.11.1rc

The complete instructions for compiling the source are also available at the above location.

Regards,
Ashish

Hello,

I've posted an updated build which has the following changes in QT:
*  implement "page-break-inside: avoid" for non-floating block elements
* enable WOFF file support
* Restore dirty line logic in RenderInline::destroy

You can get it from https://github.com/ashkulz/wkhtmltopdf/releases/tag/0.11.2rc

Ashish

Hi,

First of all ... great work in upgrading to QT4.5.8.... but.... there are somethings different in this version compared to an older one.

- When an URL on the webpage is converted the link in the PDF directs to the local PDF file instead of the real url link.
For example when I do wkhtmltopdf.exe http://www.wanwisawebwinkel.nl d:\wanwisa.pdf. I get a nice wanwisa.pdf file.
When I click the "bad and spa" button on the grey toolbar the url link should go to "http://www.wanwisawebwinkel.nl/index.php/bad-en-spa" instead it goes to "file:///index.php/bad-en-spa"

- A pdf bookmark is always made.

For the rest... good work :-)

Greetings,
Kees

Hello,

A few weeks ago, the link provided had the compiled application - now it doesn't.

Can you provide a compiled executable as well as the wkhtmltox0.dll?

I am interested whether managed wrapped would work with a new release, considering that the project has been inactive for three years.
Thank you.

Awesome!

Two issues,
1. Installer installed wkhtmltopdf to C:\Program Files\wkhtmltopdf - this directory if for 64-bit programs only
2. Regression from 11.0 rc1: Try creating a PDF of http://www.wired.com/design/2013/09/the-rise-of-subtle-tasteful-and-commissioned-animated-gif-illustrations/ The text on the right is missing whereas it is present in the last official version.

Also I noticed two issues fixed compared to 0.11.0 rc1 - this will be of great benefit to developers once made an official release.

I will try testing with a popular .NET wrapper later.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello,

#1 is by design; I just haven't made the 64-bit builds yet.

For #2, will be able to check it next week as I am out of town right now.

Regards,
Ashish

For #2, it looks like the new web fonts support is the culprit -- the web fonts are rendered via Javascript on wired.com, which are not loaded and hence the text seems missing.
