Yesterday and today, Carolee and I have seen an adult American Goshawk perched near Lakeside park. Likely hunting Rock Pigeons. Large hawk with long tail. Full gray body, with light gray underside. It's been seen perched in bare deciduous trees near the intersection of Elywn and 2nd Ave. We've seen it both days between 10 and 11 AM. Took a photo of it before it flew, and failed to get a full view of the bird. Sigh.
