Hi Tracy,

Some places that are good all year:

Selkirk College Trails in Castlegar

Waldie Island in Castlegar

Sunshine Bay Regional Park in Harrop

Whitewater Rd.

Creston: Summit Creek, Wildlife Centre, Reclamation Rd., Kootenay River Rd., Channel Rd., Duck Lake

Early spring to mid-summer:

Slocan Rail Trail between Perrysback Rd and Larsen Fields or Lemon Creek

Pend d'Oreille Valley west (Waneta-Nelway Rd. and Seven Mile Dam Rd.)

Pend d'Oreille Valley east (enter at Nelway)

Late spring to fall:

Champion Lakes Provincial Park

Stagleap Provincial Park (Kootenay Pass)

All sites are eBird hotspots. If you would like more detailed information on how to access these places, you can email me directly.
