Those of you who were unable to attend last Sunday's hawk-watch, didn't miss much!!

The temperature was OK, the skies were mostly clear, and there were no unfavourable winds, but the raptors were not moving! There was a bit of smoke in the air, perhaps they don't like smoke! 4 of us were there and we put in 2 hours before we abandoned.

I will try again in 10 days or so. Depends upon the weather. I'll keep you informed.
