Well we missed the big jump for the goslings today. But late this morning we saw two pairs of Canada geese with five goslings each on the adjacent beach! And all ten goslings are newly hatched! We don't know where the other pair of geese were nesting (We're just west of Kokanee Creek Park). Certainly there is safety with four adults defending the young against predation by our local bald eagles, which snatched one immediately after leaving the nest last year.
