At the Nelson dog park on December 25th we noticed a large flock of American Widgeons, Common Goldeneyes and what we think are Eurasian Widgeons, with striking auburn heads.image0.jpegimage1.jpegimage2.jpegThese are not supposed to be in our area. I think those are Redheads.

Doug is correct. The duck with the red head is, appropriately enough, a Redhead.
