Dear All,

Many thanks to all  who have contributed to editing the draft of the report.

While it is difficult to please everyone, I have tried to include all relevant comments and corrections. Please find attached the final copy of the report ( in pdf) which includes the list of participants. In case you find  some unacceptable errors that we should correct, please let me know. Otherwise, this is the final report that is being submitted to  WJF organisers.

I look forward to hearing from you about where we go from our design of the project proposals.

Most proposals are still in outline versions and we need to finalise them as soon as possible using the WJP templates.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank very much the WJP for having invited us to participate in the WJP and to become long –term  partners in implementing WJP Programmes.

I personally enjoyed very much the WJF III because it was well organised and led to concrete outcomes.

I thank very much all WJP staff and volunteers  for their professionalism and skills in organising the event.

Best regards,

Ernest

Dear Ernest:

Thank you very much for this concise and up to the point report. I am glad to see that WJFIII had achieved it’s objectives and looking forward to the project implementation.

It may be suitable now to disseminate this report to all stakeholders in various countries in an effort to create awareness about the WJP and the environment and public health relation to the rule of law.

Thanks and with best regards

Deena Alasfoor

Women excluded from climate change projects in Africa, UN experts warn

Of the millions of dollars spent on climate change projects in developing countries, little has been allocated in a way that will benefit women. Yet, in Africa, it is women who will be most affected by climate change.

According to United Nations data, about 80 percent of the continent's smallholder farmers are women. While they are responsible for the food security of millions of people, agriculture is one of the sectors hardest hit by climate change.
