WJHS News - BOE District Calendar Changes

On Monday evening, the Board of Education approved changes to the
2009-10 school calendar. These changes were necessary due to some
late changes made by SED to the schedule for administering/scoring
assessment exams this coming spring.

There are two areas of change:
1) The Supt Conference Dayoriginally scheduled for 4/23/10 is now
changed to 4/30/10. April 23rd will be a regular school day.

2) The "return" days(the days that school will be closed if we use
less than five snow days) originally scheduled for: 1st day: 5/21/10,
2nd day: 5/14/10, 3rd day: 5/7/10, 4th day: 4/30/10 are changed to:1st
day: 5/24/10, 2nd day: 5/21/10, 3rd day: 4/23/10, 4th day: 4/5/10
