Push Notifications and In-App Notifications when using non-GCM service

Good Day, Team CleverTap -

I had two questions:

1) Just for using In-App Notifications, do we need to setup push notifications via CleverTap.

2) The reason for (1), we are currently using Parse to handle all our notifications, now to enable notifications via CleverTap we will have to use GCM directly and also Parse. We are a small team and are not very well versed with it and are worried that we might break something this close to our public beta.

Hi Kaushal,

You can do just the InApp Notification integration and it will work.

Although, its fairly easy to handle PN's through GCM. We have a detailed integration guideline here:  http://support.wizrocket.com/android-sdk-integration/#step-6-integrate-push-notifications

Thanks for your response, really appreciate it. 

As per your suggestion, we will try and add the push via WizRocket as well so that we can track the uninstalls. We might bother the WizRocket team again, only if we run into issues after following all the documented steps.
