I loaded Witty up, and left it overnight.

I woke up to my computer being frozen, requiring me to kill the power
to it and reboot. Ever since then (even after consecutive reboots of
my computer), I get the "Witty has encountered an unexpected error.
Please restart Witty." dialog, then the process ends.

I'll uninstall/reinstall to fix this if I have to, but is there
anything else I can try to do beforehand?

I'd uninstall, then install the latest version. We added some checks for file corruption on startup about six months ago, so we'll want to be sure you're on the latest version. You can grab the latest version from http://wittytwitter.com/install

*bounces* A reinstall fixed it! I have to redo all my settings now,
but it's a small price to pay for a working program.

Good to hear it!

Bonus: the newer version will recover correctly from a computer crash, if it happens again.
