After you delete a playlist, the playlist URL and title will no longer be visible or searchable in YouTube Analytics. Data associated with the playlist, such as Watch time, will still be part of broader reports, but won't be attributed to the deleted playlist.
It's June 2023 and STILL no solution to this *issue*. I've reached out to tech support and they were no help. This is the reason why I cancelled my premium. I gave up on Pandora years ago. I rather pay premium for YouTube Music and Spotify.
Is there any fix for this? It's literally impossible to personalize a station with the algorithm because everytime I thumb a song up, it errors put and doesn't save it. I've grown tired of Spotifys algorithm of them just playing things off my like songs when I try to play new things. So I came back to the original internet radio (to me) and it's literally so broken that it's impossible to use the app the way it's designed. I've already cleared my data and cache, no change.
In the meantime, I've gone ahead and shared your feedback + experience with the appropriate party. Thank you for taking the time to provide your device details. We appreciate your patience during this process.
5/6/24 I'm still receiving the "Sorry, playlist no longer available" error message every single time a new track plays on Pandora regardless of whether I'm currently playing a station, playlist, or tracks and albums from my collection. It only happens when the app is open in the foreground. I do not receive the error when the app is running in the background. It also throws an "unexpected error 99001" message into my notification bar.
I've attached screenshots.
Phone model: Samsung Galaxy Note 10+
@AlyssaPandora I've already done all the troubleshooting. Nothing fixes it. Pandora needs to fix this issue. And I've already told support about it multiple times over the past couple months. Restarting does not work. Uninstalling does not work. Signing out and back in does not work. Clearing data or cache does not fix the issue. This needs to be fixed by Pandora support and can only be fixed by Pandora support.
@Rob_fall I actually believe Alyssa duplicate posting like that is a violation of the Community Guidelines under the "crossposting" section as well. Crossposting is defined as "repetitive or duplicative content across forum spaces or within the same thread within a short timeframe." Seems pretty cut and dry that's a violation of the community guidelines.
President Obama is once again sharing his summer picks -- an eclectic mix of hand-selected tracks on two lists that take listeners from day to night. The vacation playlists feature legendary songs from Prince and Aretha Franklin, some more recent tracks from hip hop artists like Common and Chance the Rapper and the musical styles of Manu Chao and Caetano Veloso.
I am also having this problem, i thought i was the only one! It's so annoying because if i delete it from my library the whole album is deleted from my playlists. i thought updating it would help but it didn't. does anyone know how to fix this??
This is happening to me too. It's extremely frustrating, especially since you can't delete songs from your library without removing them from playlists too. I updated to the newest version of IOS in hopes it would help-- no luck. As others have said, if you are really really quick on adding a song after turning the setting off yet again it seems to work sometimes, but that's annoying, unreliable, and only lets you add one song at a time.
This seems to a bug that crawled in after the last update. They need to fix this asap, it's annoying and it would definitely be a driving factor on me switching music streaming service. My music library is sacred. I add songs to a playlist and depending on a few factors they either ascend to my music library or stay in the playlist till whenever.
If you're wanting to add songs to a playlist , go to the playlist and select "edit". Then add the songs by search. I haven't had them added to my library and I added at least 6 new songs to a playlist.
Me too!! I thought it was only me, but I tried restarting my phone and deleting Apple Music and reinstalling, but that doesn't work either so don't stress yourself to do so. I might contact Apple to see if they can do anything about it, but for the meantime, keep deleting songs out of your library.
So annoying, might just go to Spotify... or do the old method way of high res downloading/torrenting each song. Shame, I like Apple Music > Spotify because they support the artists more... but if they cannot fix such a simple bug anytime soon I will cancel my subscription and move on.
Hi all please can anyone tell me if the new Stream (on Sharepoint) features the ability to arrange videos in a playlist or at least is it in the roadmap. If not I would like to log a feature request as this was lacking on the Stream (Classic) environment. Thanks
Quite frankly it is a joke to release a feature called "Playlists" without the ability to re-order playlist items! Also adding new items to the list it adds them to the top which I believe to be wrong.
I'm creating a set of videos testing a function with an indexed number of test scenarios. However to get them to play in order 1-7 I have to add them backwards into the "Playlist" 7,6,5,4,3,2,1 - which is completely wrong.
@RMBranson I (and I'm sure others) find this same thing very frustrating. However, what we are working with is the minimum viable product to get a playlist out with the thought that something is better than nothing. On this week's Stream product office hours call they indicated that the playlist would be updated in Mid-May and would include the ability to display it correctly using the list view web part. Hopefully it will include the ability to re-order items and more at that time.
Our institution is required to use Microsoft options when available. The availability of a Microsoft tool creates a mandatory migration to that new tool. When this tool lacks basic functions (such as playlist rearrangement) it costs our team hours of work to retrofit a complete and functioning service in an external platform to work within an incomplete product. This is extremely frustrating.
Adding a "Beta" or "In progress" label to new tools that lack basic functionality can assist my team in advocating for a pause in the mandatory tool migration. This label can reduce the pressure on Microsoft to provide a functional product, which could be the origin of most of the stress your customer service team may confront.
@karen_dredske Thank you very much for taking the time to relay that information. I was able to locate these settings, create a new column, and assign numbers to each item. I was also able to re-order the playlist while still in All Items view. But upon returning to Playlist view the order returned to the order in which the videos were added to the playlist.
I know I said this already too, but it really looks like they're planning to introduce drag & drop for re-ordering, since the size of the playlist items shrink when you click & hold on them. This would really be optimal. It seems like this type of functionality should be possibly by default with any kind of modern playlist tool.
Thank you @karen_dredske I really appreciate you taking the time to respond. I want to highlight that none of my criticisms about this feature are directed at you. People like yourself are really wonderful, and the time you take helping out in these forums is likely one of the only reasons Microsoft products remain usable.
I just want to say again, although my post is obviously laden with sarcasm, none of it is directed at @karen_dredske. I mean it when I say you make this community better. Thank you again for taking the time to respond.
The playlist shortcode implements the functionality of displaying a collection of WordPress audio or video files in a post using a simple Shortcode. This was added as of WordPress 3.9 and is used like this:
unfurl: a sequence of morning ragas (with one exception), played on a variety of instruments, each raga unfurling from a slow beginning to a more vigorous conclusion; music at vaster and more immersive time scales
four moments of the sun: Congolese rumba from the classic period; dedicated to the notion that Lingala is the most beautiful sung language; the playlist title is a reference to the four solar moments of Kongo cosmology: birth, life, death, and rebirth
soon as we get out: music for the body, mostly 2-step, dubstep and other electronica; I imagine a dark basement club, no sign outside, intense bass, somatic sense-making; follows on from the endocytosis playlist
A playlist is a list of video or audio files that can be played back on a media player, either sequentially or in a shuffled order.[1] In its most general form, an audio playlist is simply a list of songs that can be played once or in a loop.[2] The term has several specialized meanings in the realms of television broadcasting, radio broadcasting and personal computers.
A video playlist can also be a list of recorded titles on a digital video disk (DVD). On the internet, a playlist can be a list of chapters in a movie serial; for example, Flash Gordon in the Planet Mongo is available on YouTube as a playlist of thirteen consecutive video chapters.
The term originally came about in the early days of Top 40 radio formats in the 1950s when stations would devise (and, eventually, publish) a limited list of songs to be played.[citation needed] The term would go on to refer to the entire catalog of songs that a given radio station (of any format) would draw from.[citation needed] Additionally, the term was used to refer to an ordered list of songs played during a given time period.[3] Playlists are often adjusted based on time of day, known as dayparting.[citation needed]
