Dear people,
Could you please assist on the following?
I made a query that included trade data from all reporters with 'the world' as partner. Then I chose a few products and I combine that with the import/export data (I also tried gross import/export).
After downloading the data I calculated the sum of all the imported and exported products of all the countries. This should add up to 0 since logically you can not export unless someone else imports it. Unfortunately this wasn't true. The ‘world’ export is way higher then the world export. This difference is to big to explain by differences in measurement.
I tried it with dollar value and weight and I found the same results. What
could it be? And how can I compensate for this error.
Kind regards,
Joeri
It is the same when you choose a country as a partner and you compare the export to this country by the first and the impor by this country by the first.
